It is a citizens' organization that was created to transform the way we support people at the end of life.
In a society that often turns its back on death, we want to focus on compassion, presence, and care.
This association activates a support network among professionals, caregivers, neighbors and institutions so that no one faces an advanced illness alone.

The MALAGA ABRAZA ASSOCIATION has the mission of transforming and making sustainable the public health system in advanced illness, end of life, loss, death and bereavement, with the involvement and commitment of the entire Malaga society.
Humbly, we want to place the very hospitable and charitable city of Malaga and its province on the world map of Compassionate Cities.

To encourage the participation of all Malaga residents in supporting and improving the quality of life of people with advanced illness or at the end of life, as well as their families and caregivers in the processes of loss, death and bereavement...
...based on the cultivation and practice of compassion, creating compassionate networks driven from the community (university, brotherhoods, neighborhood associations, volunteer platforms, etc.) in the different neighborhoods of Malaga and the surrounding province...
