WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about visitors, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the site.

Through the use of these devices, the web server is allowed to remember certain user data, such as display preferences for the pages of that server, username and password, products of greatest interest, etc.

  • Affiliate cookies: These allow the tracking of visits coming from other websites with which the website has an affiliation agreement.

  • Security cookies: These store encrypted information to prevent the stored data from being vulnerable to malicious attacks by third parties.

According to ownership
